Hey guys,
I’ve been working on making my car over all safer before I start doing some power mods just to make sure I don’t blow anything up. So I wanted to ask, what are some necessary mods to do before I start playing with the engine?

On the list I have a valve adjustment, VTEC Solenoid, injectors and a fuel filter. What am I missing?

So far I’ve done both front axles, a new clutch, resurfaced flywheel, rebuilt steering rack, head gasket, brakes and fluids.

Ball joints seemed to be okay at the moment. I just sprung a absolutely massive coolant leak last night so I’ll be finding out wtf caused that

However as you said, my EGR valve is totally messed up. Looked into it cause it was making my car rev abnormally upon start up. The car feels slow to accelerate and I’ve been wondering why it feels like I’m at a loss of power. How do I go about cleaning that piece? Would be be better to just get a new one?
