Preluding in Ottawa

Hey All
I’m Matt. I have a 5th gen 2000 Type SH. I’ve wanted this car since a friend of mine’s parents had one when we were in high school (*cough* 98
) This is actually my second Prelude as my first car was a 2nd gen 85 (which I wish I still had), as well, my wife’s first car, back when we started dating 2000ish, was a 3rd Gen 1990 SR on 18’s. Big timing. LOL
I’ve had this car since 2019, when I finally found this gem after checking out/TDing a few duds over the years. It’s not without some imperfections, but working on it. I’m going for the OEM+, as it’s all OEM, except for the AEM intake and an eBay type exhaust that the previous owner put on. The exhaust is being replaced with the APEXi WS2 as soon as I have a minute. (It’s sitting in my garage and was my Christmas gift but also I just got the car out of storage last week)
Since buying it I’ve added the OEM front, rear, and side “under spoilers” aka lip kit (Thanks Visa) also, since getting it out this year I’ve installed the JDM fogs (also thanks Visa!) lol.
I love all Prelude’s. All generations and styles. Sadly they’re such a rarity now, unicorns! There’s not many around here or they’re all hiding. Since getting mine I’ve only seen about 8 and, believe me, I’m ALWAYS looking! Hopefully sometime this year I get out to a meet to see all these beauties in one place and meet the folks who understand the crazy love for these cars.

PS. I have also added the JDM rear ashtray. The most unnecessary thing possible, but does it ever complete the look in the back...and I got a new license plate for Christmas from my family (tell me you own a prelude without telling me you own a prelude)
