*** IMPORTANT: PROVINCIAL DIVISIONS - MUST READ ***
The Canadian Prelude Club expands from the west coast to the east coast covering 10 provinces and 3 territories.
Currently our community consists of members residing within the provinces – none are known to reside in the territories. In the past CPC used to act as the ‘umbrella’ in a MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support) governing regional clubs. Some of the clubs were:
.......... Toronto Prelude Club
.......... Montreal Prelude Club
.......... 780Preludes (Edmonton)
.......... Winnipeg Prelude Club
.......... Vancouver Prelude Club
.......... Calgary Prelude Club
After feedback from a few individuals and negative experiences with one particular club, we have decided to part ways with the old system and create our own provincial divisions. Due to the regional clubs representing major cities, prelude owners outside of that region felt excluded. For example: Prelude owners in Fort McMurray/Red Deer, AB needed to join the 780Preludes while some from Victoria, BC had to join the club in Vancouver. Some of them want to represent their hometown but at the same time feel a sense of belonging to the club. Therefore, our divisions are based on province rather than city, to make sure everyone feels inclusive.
The provincial section on our forum offer individuals the opportunity to connect with others in the same province/area. It also makes life easier with planning any meets/events and buying/selling products. Sole intended purpose is to allow individuals from the same district to connect with one another as easily as possible. Each division has their own Leader. The Leaders are responsible for managing the group, organizing events and making sure things flow smoothly.
